Congratulations to Sandrine Péron (CNRS Scientist) on winning the ERC starting Grant 2024. Her project - Kryptonis - should enable us to reconstruct the history of volatile elements (water, nitrogen, carbon) on planets, from solar system formation processes to post-accretion interior-atmosphere exchanges, using rare gases (notably krypton and xenon) as tracers.
What does an ERC Starting Grant bring?
- Recognition of the scientific excellence of your project by a large panel of internationally recognized researchers.
- Support of €1.5 million to build up your own research team and acquire equipment
- A great step in a starting career: winners have between 2 and 7 years' post-doctoral experience.
