Rémi Coltat joins us on 01/09/2024 as Associate Professor within the Mineral Systems Team. His research focuses on the study of fluid-rock interactions in the lithospheric mantle, with a particular emphasis on processes that mobilize metals such as Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn. Rémi studies both present-day oceanic systems of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge through oceanographic cruises and fossil systems (ophiolites), using a combined approach of field geology, petrographic observations, and elemental and stable isotope geochemical tracing.
